Would You Live In This Tiny Home Mortgage Free?

What would you do with this "Duplex Cabin: Rent One Half And Live In The Other Rent-free?" That is a great idea and you could keep your eye on the tiny house while you are there. It is a beautiful wooden tiny house with a nice front patio, stone work underneath, wooden exterior and great location, with mountains in the background and lots of trees, it looks like a nice tiny house to live.

With a duplex tiny cabin like this there are a few options you could do if you owned it. You could buy this duplex tiny cabin as an investment property and rent out the whole place, if that were the case you would then be a landlord and responsible for maintaining the tiny home if anything were to break down or need to be fixed, it's a great way to save money if you don't mind having to occasionally hire someone, or do repairs. You would also have to be careful about who you rented out the tiny house to, checking references, and using your best judgement to get good tenants. Or like suggested earlier you could live on one side of the tiny house duplex and rent out the other side, in this case you still would want to find good tenants, and you would still be in charge of repairs, but at least it would only be one place you are responsible for (besides your own), this idea would be a good way to pay off your mortgage. Or you could always have family live on one side (if you are close), or even friends, provided you have a good relationship. At least in this case you would hopefully know what to expect.
