This Couple Built a “Shabin” To Live The Good Life

Many more people are going back to a simpler lifestyle, one that is more in alignment with their passions and less about owning a big house and lots of stuff. This Couple Built a “Shabin” To Live The Good Life on 13 acres of land that they bought and put this awesome little cabin up on. The cabin is 12 feet by 12 feet and they are pretty much off grid besides internet and electricity. It looks very unique with bright green siding, cedar shake siding and a nice cherry red door, that is very welcoming and warm!

As you can see in the photo, they have a lot of out door storage too, and if you look closely, you will notice that all of the stuff in their storage is all rock climbing gear. They both love to rock climb, and opting for a smaller habitation with minimal costs to purchase and build, they have plenty of time to spare for their passions since they are not working all the time. They are really living their dream life by the sound of it! Good for them! There is so much freedom in living minimally so that you can afford to do other things in life.

There is even a cute little video of their shabin - a shack and a cabin - that shows the inside of it too, so that you can have a better idea of how it works for them. They have everything they need, including a kitchen with a gas range and a living room with a little wood burning stove. The ladder for the upstairs bedroom loft folds up to be stored on the ceiling so it doesn't take up too much space. It seems like the perfect little abode for two people!
