So many people are going back to traditional ways and choosing to live simpler lives, which includes the structures we live in and call home. Check out Our Tiny Log Cabin from the Lundy 5, a family who has chosen not to live the conventional life, and instead live a nomadic life RVing and living in small cabins. They decided to go out on their own and build their own life, they even built this awesome structure, a little cabin that would be perfect for a little inside dwelling, simple and similar to what the settlers would make when they were first settling here in North America.
This home is a sweet and simple structure that is more on the traditional side of what log homes looked like. The exterior design is very simple, and almost fairy tale book like. The family made the log cabin out of things found in their environment, it looks like, their kids even help out with making the structure too! How awesome is that? This is a great way for kids to learn how to be self sufficient, and how to do things on their own and see that they can do it!
The cabin is so sweet, very rustic and very practical. They live in their RV most of the time it seems, so it would be nice to have an added structure like this one to use for different things. They just put the windows in, in this blog post, as well as the door, which all look awesome! The windows are not too large but large enough for this little cabin's needs. Their kids probably just think its the coolest to help their parents with these kinds of awesome projects! So much fun!
