How to Build an Eco-Friendly House out of a Pile of Garbage

Designer Kristofer Nonn's innovative "Eco Cabanas In Venezuela" are a tiny house design inspired by stilt architecture, while helping locals in the area live in a healthier, more sustainable way. These eco cabanas are so nice in comparison to the dark and damp corrugated metal dwellings that dot the Santa Elena region. These great eco cabana tiny houses are open and airy, and bring lots of natural light into the interior of the homes.

These tiny house eco cabanas use only locally sourced and recycled materials. The designer has created a model for sustainable and inexpensive living that will keep the people of Santa Elena comfortable and cool. Way to go! It's nice to see a project like this that can make people's lives that much better, a tiny house like this is so much healthier for the people of this area to live in, and helps to make them feel more positive, which is also important.

Since glass is quite scarce in the region, the Eco Cabanas feature a wall of recycled glass that filters natural light into the tiny homes. Beer and liquor bottles were collected from roadways and transformed into solid glass and concrete walls, providing structural support and beautiful mosaic of glass, you'll want to take a look the walls look quite beautiful and colorful. The north and south-facing areas of the tiny homes are open, which helps to maximize the cross breezes, helping to cool the interior naturally.
