The Seminole Wind log cabin is a charming, well decorated, cozy one bedroom log cabin. This non-smoking log cabin is bordered by the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park of Tennessee. Last year alone the park had over 10,000,000 visitors! The park is the only national park in the United States that is free to visit. All other national parks in the U.S. charge an entrance fee. The Great Smoky Mountain Park doesnt charge a fee because of John D. Rockefeller. He donated $5 million towards the National Parks creation with the stipulation that no fee could be charged for visiting the National Park.

The park is 520,000 acres and 800,000 square miles and is home to 1,500 species of flowering plants, along with 4,000 non-flowering plants. The Great Smoky National Park is the largest natural habitat of the black bear in North America. Each year the park has thousands of people that visit the section known as Elkmont every summer to view the rare synchronized firefly.
