A Curious Architect Decided to Combine a Guesthouse and a Sauna. The Result Was Amazing.

This "Cabin Title 82" known as The Mill House, is a combined guest house and sauna, that was designed by architect Gert Wingardh. On the outside of the tiny cabin it is a simple tiny cottage that has a gabled roof and a big chimney. Inside of the tiny cottage is very modern with amazing detailing and craftsmanship. Every surface of the tiny cottage is treated as if it were fine furniture.

The interior of this tiny cottage is a bit of a surprise, from the outside you don't expect it to feel so spacious and modern. The tiny cottage is 538 square feet, with enough room for the sauna and a living area on the ground floor. Inside the tiny cottage small porthole windows recessed into the thick masonry walls serve as beckoning lights at the ends of corridors. An amazing feature of this tiny cottage is the landscaping. Outside a stream runs along one side of the tiny cottage and there is a reflecting pool on the adjacent side. The walls on those sides are entirely glass so the water features can be enjoyed from inside the tiny cottage too. One of the advantages to small house living is taking full advantage of the yard, creating outdoor rooms to extend the inside space outdoor. Outside the architect provided a small pool for post-sauna dips, an outdoor dining area, and a terrace for lounging. You really want to take a look at this amazing tiny cottage space.
